The MELODIE class is an introductory ballet program for children aged 6 to 8, designed to awaken musicality, creativity, and self-expression. This beginner-friendly class encourages young dancers to explore movement playfully, develop coordination, and experience the joy and grace of ballet.
MELODIE nurtures the natural potential in each child, helping them connect with their body, imagination, and the expressive power of dance.
Course Philosophy
At this stage, children are discovering their own abilities and creative sensitivity. MELODIE focuses on cultivating their innate talent, helping them develop confidence, awareness of their body, and an understanding of musicality.
The course emphasizes:
- Experiencing dance in a playful and creative way
- Developing grace, presence, and body awareness
- Exploring movement, gestures, and rhythm to nurture self-expression
- Supporting the child’s initial journey in classical ballet while respecting their individuality
About the Instructor
Classes are led by Domitille — the school’s founder and a professional instructor from France. Since 2010, she has been a prominent figure in Dubai’s ballet scene, teaching with an emphasis on elegance and precision rooted in the French classical tradition. Domitille is also the creator of innovative dance programs and brings deep expertise and inspiration to every session.

- Friday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
