The ARPÈGE class is a structured and inspiring ballet program designed for children aged 8 to 11. At this important stage of development, students build strong technical foundations while discovering the beauty and discipline of classical dance. The body can undergo impressive transformations when guided by strength, focus, and desire — and ARPÈGE supports this evolution with precision and sensitivity.
This class combines technical rigor with artistic awareness, helping children master movements with coordination, musicality, and growing confidence.
Course Philosophy
ARPÈGE is built on the idea that true progress in ballet comes from the subtle symbiosis between technique and expression. Students are guided to understand their bodies, refine their coordination, and approach movement with care and awareness. The passion and persistence of dedicated students, combined with the competence and expertise of the teacher, create the perfect environment to overcome challenges and grow through this artistic discipline.
The course focuses on:
- Correct body placement of legs, arms, and hands
- Understanding foundational ballet rules at the barre and in the center
- Developing coordination in Adage and Allegro work
- Building awareness of music, tempo, rhythm, and spatial orientation
About the Instructor
Classes are led by Domitille — the school’s founder and a professional instructor from France. Since 2010, she has been a prominent figure in Dubai’s ballet scene, teaching with an emphasis on elegance and precision rooted in the French classical tradition. Domitille is also the creator of innovative dance programs and brings deep expertise and inspiration to every session.
