The CONCERTO class is a classical ballet program designed for adults aged 18 to 60 with previous ballet experience who want to refine their technique and artistic expression. This class emphasizes inner listening, breath awareness, and sensory perception, guiding students to deepen their connection with their body, mind, and creativity while advancing in classical ballet.
CONCERTO combines disciplined training with artistic exploration, helping intermediate and advanced dancers enhance their confidence, precision, and expressive movement.
Course Philosophy
In CONCERTO, “technique” is understood as the grammar and syntax of classical dance, rather than virtuosity for competition. Through rigorous practice, students learn to convey emotion, creativity, and narrative while maintaining elegance, style, and precision.
The course focuses on:
- Using dance as a creative support for self-expression
- Breath control, relaxation, and sensory awareness
- Connecting fully with body, feelings, and imagination, translating them into refined movement
- Embracing dance as a path to well-being, self-development, and therapeutic benefits
About the Instructor
Classes are led by Domitille — the school’s founder and a professional instructor from France. Since 2010, she has been a prominent figure in Dubai’s ballet scene, teaching with an emphasis on elegance and precision rooted in the French classical tradition. Domitille is also the creator of innovative dance programs and brings deep expertise and inspiration to every session.
