Standard Japanese Course (20-Week Package)

Standard Japanese Course is designed for students who want to develop practical Japanese language skills through an immersive study experience in Japan. Combining structured classroom lessons with real-life communication, the course helps students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing while experiencing Japanese culture firsthand. Suitable for learners from complete beginners to upper-intermediate level, the programme focuses on practical communication in small international classes taught by experienced Japanese teachers.

Please note: This course is delivered on the same terms at all five GenkiJACS campuses in Japan. Students are free to choose their preferred city, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya or Okinawa, as the curriculum, class schedule, and tuition fees are the same across all locations.

• 14+: Fukuoka, Kyoto & Nagoya
• 16+: Okinawa
• 18+: Tokyo

Course Details

• Programme length: 20 weeks
• Weekly intensity: 20 lessons per week (10 grammar lessons + 10 language skills)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (morning or afternoon classes depending on placement)
  • Morning classes (9:30 AM – 1:10 PM)
  • Afternoon classes (11:25 AM – 3:50 PM or 2:05 PM – 5:45 PM)
