Standard Japanese Course (1-Year Package)

Standard Japanese Course is designed for students who want to develop practical Japanese language skills through an immersive study experience in Japan. Combining structured classroom lessons with real-life communication, the course helps students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing while experiencing Japanese culture firsthand. Suitable for learners from complete beginners to upper-intermediate level, the programme focuses on practical communication in small international classes taught by experienced Japanese teachers.

  • Fukuoka Campus: A0–C1 (equivalent to JLPT N5–N1)
  • Nagoya Campus: A2–C1 (equivalent to JLPT N4–N1)

Please note: This course is delivered on the same terms at two GenkiJACS campuses in Japan. Students are free to choose their preferred city, Fukuoka or Nagoya.

Course Details

• Programme length: 40 weeks
• Weekly intensity: 20 lessons per week (10 grammar lessons + 10 language skills)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (morning or afternoon classes depending on placement)
  • Morning classes (9:30 AM – 1:10 PM)
  • Afternoon classes (11:25 AM – 3:50 PM or 2:05 PM – 5:45 PM)
