London UK Summer Camp at QMUL (ages 12–17)
About the Camp
London Summer Camp at Queen Mary University by Embassy Summer (EC) offers teenagers aged 12–17 an engaging and dynamic programme that combines English language learning, cultural exploration, and life in one of the world’s most exciting capital cities. Suitable for students of all English levels, the course includes 15 hours of English tuition per week, with interactive, discussion-based lessons designed to build confidence, collaboration skills, and practical communication abilities.
The camp is based at Queen Mary University of London, one of the largest self-contained residential campuses in the city, located in the vibrant and multicultural area of East London. This prime location provides students with easy access to central London, allowing them to explore world-famous landmarks, museums, and cultural districts while studying in a safe and well-equipped campus environment. The programme includes an extensive activity and excursion schedule, with frequent half-day visits around London to sites such as the British Museum, St Paul’s Cathedral, the National Gallery, Tower Bridge, and lively areas like Leicester Square and Chinatown. Full-day excursions to destinations such as Brighton, Canterbury, and Cambridge offer additional opportunities to discover British culture, history, and coastal life.
Accommodation is provided in comfortable single en-suite rooms within the university’s student village, with full board meals served daily in the campus dining hall. Students benefit from 24/7 supervision and dedicated pastoral care, ensuring a safe, supportive, and comfortable stay throughout the programme.
The programme offers weekly enrolment with arrivals on Tuesdays. The length of the programme is flexible, with a minimum stay of 1 week and a maximum of 8 weeks. The recommended stay length is 4 weeks, as some activities and excursions may be repeated.
