Japanese Private Lessons

Private Japanese Lessons are designed for students who want a fully personalised learning experience in Japan. With one-to-one instruction and a flexible schedule, the programme allows students to focus on their individual goals, whether improving conversation skills, preparing for the JLPT exam, developing business Japanese, or building confidence in everyday communication. Suitable for learners of all levels, lessons are tailored to each student's needs and learning pace.

Key Information

• Language level: A0–C1 (equivalent to JLPT N5–N1)
• Class size: 1 student (private lessons)
• Format: on-campus

Please note: Private lessons are not available during the summer period, and availability may be limited at other times of the year. This course is delivered on the same terms at all five GenkiJACS campuses in Japan. Students are free to choose their preferred city, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya or Okinawa, as the curriculum, class schedule, and tuition fees are the same across all locations.

Minimum age by campus:

• 14+: Fukuoka, Kyoto & Nagoya
• 16+: Okinawa
• 18+: Tokyo

Course Details

• Duration of one lesson: 50 minutes
• Course intensity: up to 20 lessons per week
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (flexible timetable based on availability)
