General English Programme (B1 – Intermediate)

The General English Programme (B1 – Intermediate) is designed for students who already have a basic foundation in English and want to communicate more confidently and accurately in everyday situations.

The course focuses on strengthening all core language skills — speaking, listening, reading, and writing — with a strong emphasis on practical, real-life communication.

Lessons are interactive and student-centred, allowing learners to actively use English in discussions, role plays, and real-life scenarios from the very first class.

Before starting the course, students take a placement test to confirm their B1 (Intermediate) level.

Course Structure

• Level: B1 (Intermediate)
• Programme Length: 8 weeks
• At the end of the level, students:
  • progress to B2 if ready, or
  • repeat B1 if additional practice is needed
• Daily Study Load: 3 hours per day
• Learning Approach: Communicative, practical, and student-focused

Entry Requirements

• Required Level: B1 (Intermediate)
• Placement Test: Mandatory to confirm the appropriate level
• Suitable for students who can already communicate in English but want to improve fluency, accuracy, and confidence

Class Schedule (B1 Level)

• Afternoon Classes: 1:00 PM – 4:15 PM
• Current B1 Group: 3 weeks remaining
• Classes are held at a fixed time slot for this level

  • Regular homework assignments
  • Weekly unit tests to monitor progress

Classes are highly interactive and focused on real communication. Students practise speaking regularly, work with real-life listening and reading materials, expand functional vocabulary, and receive clear, practical support in grammar and pronunciation to help them move confidently towards the next level.
