Assessment & Progression
Student progress is monitored weekly through in-class feedback, helping learners focus on areas for improvement in a supportive, informal environment. Monthly CEFR-aligned level tests allow students to track their development. Students progress to the next level once they have successfully achieved the required learning objectives.
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Reading: understand texts written in high-frequency everyday or job-related language, and follow descriptions of events, feelings, and wishes in personal letters.
- Writing: produce simple connected texts on familiar topics or personal interests, including personal letters describing experiences and impressions.
- Speaking: handle everyday situations at work or school, participate in conversations on familiar topics, and describe experiences, events, dreams, hopes, and ambitions. Students can narrate stories or summarize books or films and express their reactions.
- Listening: understand the main points of clear, standard speech on familiar matters encountered at work, school, or leisure, and follow many radio or TV programs on topics of personal or professional interest when delivered slowly and clearly.
This Intensive B1 course is perfect for students who want to consolidate and expand their English skills, handle everyday work or school situations, and gain fluency in real-world communication.
