Cape Town Summer Camp for teenagers (ages 15–18)
About the Camp
Cape Town Summer Camp by LAL offers teenagers aged 15–18 an exciting programme that combines English language learning, cultural discovery, and outdoor adventure in one of South Africa’s most iconic coastal cities. Designed for students from A0 level and above, the course includes 15 hours of English tuition per week, focused on building real-life communication skills through engaging, practical lessons.
Participants enjoy a full programme of daily activities and excursions, from beaches and mountains to cultural landmarks, allowing them to practise English in authentic settings while exploring Cape Town’s natural beauty and vibrant atmosphere.
Accommodation is provided in a student residence or homestay with full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and with 24/7 supervision and support to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. In case the student residence option is chosen, students stay at the Sea Point Student Residence, featuring modern, comfortable shared rooms with 4–5 beds, equipped with standard single beds or high-quality bunk beds and a private bathroom. For the homestay option, the student is placed with a carefully selected local host family, offering a warm and authentic home environment within a short distance from the school.
You can choose the length of the programme with a minimum stay of 1 week and a maximum of 4 weeks, with a recommended stay of 2 weeks. For stays longer than 2 weeks, some activities and excursions may be repeated.
