The ADAGIO class is a joyful introduction to ballet for children aged 4 to 6, designed to awaken their musicality, creativity, and sense of presence. This discovery-focused class encourages young dancers to explore movement playfully, develop grace, and experience the magic of dance through imagination and body awareness.

Children learn to connect with music, express themselves, and cultivate the fundamentals of ballet in a nurturing and inspiring environment.

Course Philosophy

ADAGIO is built on the belief that early exposure to dance shapes not only technique but also confidence, awareness, and joy in movement. At this age, children are encouraged to:

• Discover and identify different parts of their body
• Become aware of weight, balance, and support
• Experience their body in space
• Listen to and memorize music

About the Instructor

Classes are led by Domitille — the school’s founder and a professional instructor from France. Since 2010, she has been a prominent figure in Dubai’s ballet scene, teaching with an emphasis on elegance and precision rooted in the French classical tradition. Domitille is also the creator of innovative dance programs and brings deep expertise and inspiration to every session.
